A little further from the centre than most, but recently refurbished. Also the 'local' for many students living on South Road.

Worked, drank, played pool and slept here in the 80's. Wild Turkey after the Yard and a bit of Boogie-Woogie on the piano from Marco... anybody remember that?

They absolutely ruined the interior!!!
I mean, who wants ANOTHER poncey 'pub-trying-to-be-city-bar' with cr*p big screens that get in the way of good beer and banter? It's attracting those bloody sporty students now. Come on, this is Aberystwyth and this pub is small and on the outskirts of the town center, by the harbour. My uncle used to drink here - he was a fisherman - tough as nails and 6 foot 4. He'd turn in his grave, to find this place full of perfumed ponces; if he was alive, he'd have em all out in a flash. Meanwhile, though, at least give the place it's interior back for authenticity. It might be considered a novelty for those ponces, these days....
