Long-established, informal bistro tucked away in the back streets.

Ate here with my wife and daughter on a uni open day visit.
Food was OK but somewhat expensive and portions were small. Friendly service though.

What a beautiful meal we had here :) absolutely over the moon to find this lovely little place. The beef wellington was out of this world , and HUGE , the red wine sauce was so beautiful . And dessert was hazelnut pavlova which was delicious ! The staff were amazing , the owners came and gave us free drinks after our meal . We wern't rushed to finish our meals at all . I loved the slightly informal way they work , with the waitress at one point sitting down to chat to us for a minute at the end of our meal , (some would't like this , but we were very pleased , obviously she knew we woulndt mind at all ). This is my new fav place , what a treat :)Decor is slightly out dated , but this place is more about the food and the company , very intimate little bistro :)

Me and my girlfriend were in Aberystwyth for a few days and found this place online with great reviews. They are all justified. From excellent value for money, £2.00 for ribs off the specials menu, to Wonderfull food and service, and for the fact that they served Rice Pudding on the sweet menu how fantastic.
I recommend this restaurant highly not based on others in the area as we only ate here however based on restaurants as a whole that I have been to all over the UK.
I hope they keep up the good work and I will visit here again if I am ever in the area.

My husband & I have visited this lovely restaurant every time we come to Aberystwyth. The food is great, the service is great. Most memorable meal was on our American holiday Thanksgiving, in November. Did we have the traditional fare of roast turkey & stuffing? Heck no! I had Welsh lamb to die for & my husband had the lasagna! It was the best non-tradition Thanksgiving we've ever had!
