Wetherspoon's Yr Hen Orsaf
Normally known simply as Wetherspoon's, Yr Hen Orsaf is Aberystwyth's branch of the popular chain pub.
A big, busy pub housed in the former station building. Yr Hen Orsaf has a fairly bland, unremarkable interior but offers the usual affordable menu and a range of low-priced drinks. Like most branches, it runs popular Curry Club and Steak Club evenings, as well as various guest beer seasons.

Have to be dragged here every week by my partner because he is a big fan of there chicken burger and cheap cocktails. Frankly I think the chicken burger tastes like a bag of vomit so I order something different every time till I find something I like.
The pasta and noodles are cold and bland.
The wrap has no filling, just a slice of chicken, cold.
The steak was so disappointing because I LOVE steak. I asked for rare to medium rare and I was so upset with my meal I left. The steak came out not cooked at all. It was just put on my plate, and it was still cold, not even warm. I felt like crying.
Since then I have tried more and it is all cheap and horrible. BUT.. the buffalo wings are amazing... can't knock them.
If you want cheap, bland, undercooked food go here. If not. AVOID!
