Why Not Club

The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the cheap drink prices!!!! The toilets are really disgusting, you spend the entire night getting shoved around by other customers because it is SO tightly packed and (most importantly i think) the staff are soooooo incredibly rude!
I was told by one of their barmaids who had made a mistake with my order (and admitted that mistake i might add)that i 'shouldnt get so f**king drunk next time'.....the next time i went into the club i was told by the manager to 'curb my drinking this time' or id be thrown out because i said a 'swear word' at that barmaid after her being SO rude (oh no how awful of me :-/....yea ok, get a life girl!!).
Again totally disgusting staff AND management!!!!

It's an 'alright night' If you are drunk it is pretty good. Majority of people tend to flock there before going to Pier Pressure so you will see home friendly faces. Door staff are lovely and I have never had any problems. Bar can be very busy between 12.00 and 12.30 due to the cheap drinks deal ending however that is expected. The DJ is 'ok'. Songs are requested by myself but they are never played. It is usually packed on Fridays and Saturdays which can be annoying and hard to find people but again that is expected for any club. Quality of the toilets are 'acceptable'. They have an area where you can pay to have your coats and jackets stores securely which is nice but it come at a small charge. Overall, a typical club, cheap drinks at times with some friendly faces. 6/10

Although the DJs are possibly the worst in Aberystwyth, you should be too drunk to care about whether its 'good enough'. All i remember, is that ive had a good time in there. (Does your telephone number ACTUALLY work?)

Certainly not the best place to go in Aberystwyth. Pier Pressure is much better especially on Tuesdays (pound night). It is free in the week but the drinks are horrendously overpriced and the music is certainly the worst I've ever had to put up with in a club. However it's the last place to shut (usually 4am I think) and like I said it's free entry midweek, other than that it's nothing to shout about, below average.

Very nice staff, music OK will visit next time down that way, Why Not will be my first choice. Thanks to all staff for great night on 24/7/10, keep it up.

Total dive. The DJ is awful and the drinks are a complete scam.

Crap club with no atmosphere, but the bouncers are quite nice. Pier Pressure bouncers drive everyone to Why Not club instead.

I worked there as a barman ten years ago, when it was still called K2. I had the best time of my life even though some nights tend to get a bit too long due to certain customers. Don't judge the staff until you've been behind the bar. Perspectives change once you get to serve instead of being served.
