- Overlooking the town, this 18 hole course dates from 1911 and welcomes visitors.

- Try the Ystwyth Cycling Club.
- Glan y Môr Leisure Park
- Part of the caravan park in Clarach Bay, this family leisure park includes a leisure centre with swimming pool, spa, sauna, solarium, fitness suite and compact ten-pin bowling. There is also a restaurant, club and bar.

- Part of Penglais School, the complex includes multi-purpose sports hall, gymnasium, multi-gym and several outdoor courts, some floodlit.
Open from 5.30pm to 9.30pm Monday to Friday, other times by arrangement. (Although courts not locked and often used at weekends).

- The main leisure centre in town, with two swimming pools, sports hall, fitness room, health suite, outdoor pitches, café and bar.

- Queen's Road Bowling Club
- Bowls and eight tennis courts. New members and visitors welcome. Entrance on Queen's Road near town hall.
- Royal Pier Snooker Club
- Play snooker or American nine ball on the pier with a subsidised bar and giant screen sports.

- Tarmacked area with ramps, free for use by skateboarders.
Located by car parks and school at end of Boulevard St Brieuc. (By pedestrian crossing on Parc-y-Llyn road.)
- UWA Sports Centre
- The University has extensive sports facilities including a swimming pool. Although it is primarily for the use of students and university staff, the general public are welcomed at certain times, with a fitness suite, weights room, personal training and expert coaching available.
