Domestic telephone lines in Aberystwyth are provided solely by BT Openreach. There are no local cable service providers.
Getting a Telephone Line
To take over an existing phone line or have a new line installed, you will need to contact BT via www.bt.com/lines or 0800 800150.
Cheaper Calls
There are now many companies offering cheaper calls over a normal BT phone line. If you make many calls, it's worth investigating - but do check costs carefully first!
ADSL Internet
In theory, all of Aberystwyth should be able to receive ADSL services. With all the 01970 area exchanges offering ADSL, the only major limitation should be an overly-long or poor quality phone line.
