A great restaurant for meat and fish eaters but disappointing for a vegetarian. The choice was limited and not surprising. The quantities were a bit sparse and I had to ask for bread to fill me up. Everyone else loved it but they were not veggies.

As a local, I regulalry eat here as a special treat. Most recently as part of a hen celebration. As always, the staff were incredibly accommodating and did their best to make the event memorable for us. The lunch special deals were good value at £8.50 for a main meal and a glass of wine. Those who ordered a la carte were also very happy with the quality. I have also had several evening meals here, and again, the quality of cooking would compare to posh restaurants in big urban centres.....but at much less than their price tags. (The trio of lamb was out of this world - especially the cutlets with the parmesan crust. Mmmm!) If you enjoy good food with an emphasis on local producers with a strong Welsh influence, this is the place for you.

food is beautiful , service is great , clean and tidy , i love this place!
