Nag's Head

Nag's Head

Small, traditional style and with a friendly atmosphere - this is a pub that's full of locals and regulars but still welcomes newcomers.

Is it true, that the Nags Head is up for sale at the moment?

The Nag's Head aka the Zoo is the best place to go for action in Aber on a Saturday night. They'll have you dancing on the tables in no time!

to be honest Christine your one of the few who think so you obviously are a snob who doesn't know a fun pub when you see one. The nags is full of fun and the "smelly old men" are very friendly just like to keep themselves to themselves.

It's a friendly pub, where you are made feel welcome, and the lads at the bar will talk to you if you make the slightest effort to fit in, I've been in on thurs / fri / sat nights and all are great craic, long may it continue as it is.:-)

A great boozer that hasn't been refurbished like many in Aber. Great Banks beer. Very lively on Friday and Saturday nights.

The pub is on the whole littered with smelly old men who clog up the bar & generaly make strangers fee unwelcome !

I used to live here 25 years ago. It was a good pub then. The year before I lived at the Old Bank, down the road. We used to come up to the Nag's for a schooner of sherry and thought we were sophisticated! I was a student then, but it wasn't a student's pub, and we were accepted as regulars.
