La Taberna

I have eaten here many times over the last ten years. The food is always reasonable and sometimes excellent. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere relaxing and intimate. The owner is an excellent chef, his son I think cooks instead sometimes who is OK but not quite up to his dads standard. Not sure what happened to 'K' above, but never heard of anything like that there before.

Truly awful - will never go back.Booked a group of us in for my birthday, when we arrived we were given menus and left, then a man who I presume was the chef/owner came over and started shouting at us to hurry up and order (we would have had we seen a waiter/ress!)The food was poor and the atmosphere after that was a little uncomfortable.

Seriously good eating. Perhaps the best in Aber. Also, good selection of wines. An all-round great experience.
