Bistro Services
A great big thumbs up from us. Booked into the Bistro last night with friends. The staff were very good and attentive and went out of their way to ensure my meal was gluten free. (I've worked for years in customer service roles and last night the balance was spot on.

Staff
Full of wood!! Bar made of Wood! Staff made of wood...boring, dull, extremely rude. The general manager is the most arrogant man I've ever met. He proceeded to shout at us for being in the 'wrong place' and then tried to eye us up from behind eh bar. The staff swear behind the bar as does the manager. There is never not a member of staff outside having a fag. It's just a vile place. Sadly we have to go there as theyve sponsored our team but nobody likes the place at all...especially that vile manager.

Visited this establishment regularly last July throughout the week of the Welsh Super Cup in Aber, found the place had an excellent atmosphere and staff were brilliant; traditional Irish pub, full of fun and laughter, definately be back there when the Welsh Super Cup being starts from July 26th to August 1st. Look forward to karaoke with the Irish friends on Thursday.

Lovely staff, were really polite and helpful.

I haven't eaten here yet myself but I do think it a shame that this former romantic restaurant has been turned into a random Irish Pub. No idea if the food still maintains its original good quality or if the price has lowered to reflect the new style.

Personally, I can't understand what all the fuss is about. I spent a good few weeks working in Aber and stayed in Harry's for most of the time with workmates. Even when we weren't actually staying at Harry's, we went down to the pub and spent most of every night there. The bar staff in particular (thanks OLLIE and LOU) were friendly and sociable and made us feel like we were welcome. I'm not a food critic with over-ambitious expectations, all I expect is a decent sized plate of food, that tastes good and thats exactly what I got.

As for the bar, I never had to ask for a drink after the first week, as the two lads behind the bar remembered what I was drinking, even after I went home for the weekend. All in all, I (and my workmates) found Harrys friendly staff and atmosphere to our liking. 8/10

Having met the chef here, I can confirm that this food is definitely freshly sourced (from the freezer). Avoid, avoid at all costs.

These people have no idea how to run a business. The whole new look cost a fortune and still looks as dated as before, along with its miserable-looking staff. It really hasn't got much going for itself. The food is crap, overpriced frozen food. Service is awful. I give them a couple of months until they change hands.

Came here with my friends, for a meal and a drink. Waited over an hour for the food, the staff made it obvious that they did not want to be there, and when I spoke to the manageress I was shocked at how rude and arrogant she was. I will never come back here again!

Had a meal and very disappointed with everything. The staff were rude, had the wrong meal and waited one and half hours. I will not be coming back.
