The suggested bus and rail routes mainly apply to daytime journeys - it is unlikely that convenient public transport connections will be available if you are arriving very early in the morning or late at night.
Fishguard is the arrival port for ferries from Rosslare. Take a bus from the town centre to Cardigan (service 412) then change onto the X50 bus (see) to complete the journey to Aberystwyth.

Eurolines coaches to the UK arrive at London Victoria, from where you can transfer to the onward National Express Coach to Aberystwyth. Alternatively, cross London to Euston Station for trains to Aberystwyth.
Eurostar trains from Paris and Brussels arrive at London St. Pancras. It is about a ten minute walk to London Euston for onward trains to Aberystwyth. You can also make the transfer by Underground (1 stop on the Victoria or Northern line) or catch one of the many buses along the Euston Road.
