Bronglais General Hospital
Aberystwyth's Bronglais Hospital serves a wide surrounding area, although its comparatively small size does result in some patients being referred to hospitals in Carmarthen, Swansea and further afield.
The hospital provides a 24 hour accident and emergency service for urgent medical cases.
Bronglais Hospital is managed by Hywel Dda Health Board, the NHS Wales local health board which provides healthcare services throughout Ceredigion county and neighbouring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
