Plascrug Leisure Centre

Located just outside town along the Llanbadarn Road, this is the town's main leisure centre offering a range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities:

• 25 metre swimming pool and small family pool
• Sports hall for most indoor sports
• Two squash courts
• Fitness suite / gym
• Tennis and netball courts
• Five-a-side football pitch
• Instruction and coaching
• Cafe

Most facilities are also available to hire for parties and events. The centre also caters for conferences, meetings and exhibitions.

Aberystwyth University Sports Centre

Many activities and facilities are open to local residents and visitors staying at the University. Facilities include:

• Swimming pool
• Saunarium
• Large gym and free weights room
• Box Rox indoor climbing wall
• Instruction and coaching

Most of these facilities, as well as an extensive range of all-weather and grass pitches for football, tennis, rugby and cricket, are available to hire for events.

Queen's Road Recreation Ground

Well-kept and centrally-located recreation ground features eight public tennis courts (two floodlit), along with well-equipped bowling greens maintained by a club which welcomes guests. [Map]

Plascrug Avenue

This long, shady pedestrian avenue linking the town and the leisure centre is good for walking and jogging, also featuring a few exercise points along the way and a small children's playground. [Map]

Skate Park

Tarmacked area with ramps, free for use by skateboarders. Located near car parks at end of Boulevard St Brieuc. [Map]
