National Express coach services in Wales
Most major towns have at least one daily National Express service to London, with larger centres also having direct services to other large English cities; Swansea and Cardiff enjoy frequent services both to London and to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Railway Services in Wales
Frequent local and express services run throughout Wales and between Wales and England. There is also an extensive urban rail network around Cardiff.

- Cross County express services from Cardiff and Newport to Birmingham and north east England
- First Great Western express services from south Wales to London Paddington, Bristol and the south coast of England
